Vin Cox has been appointed Managing Director of Magic Millions, the thoroughbred auction and sales company chaired by Gerry Harvey who, in making the announcement said, “Katie and I are delighted that Vin has accepted the position of Managing Director of Magic Millions. We look forward to growing the business together and raising the profile of the Australian bloodstock industry locally and internationally.”
Vin brings twenty-three (23) years experience in the industry to his new role. Vin joined William Inglis & Son in 1988 until he resigned to form his own bloodstock advisory company, Vin Cox Bloodstock, in 2002.
At the time he left Inglis, Vin had risen to the position of Associate Director. Vin has been the Australasian representative for Keeneland, the Kentucky based thoroughbred sales company and auction house since 2003, and is credited with helping to bridge the gap between the Australian and American breeding industries.
Vin, his wife Nicole (a veterinarian), and three boys will relocate to the Gold Coast.

Vin will take up his role in time for the 2011 Magic Millions National Sales which will take place on the Gold Coast from 25 May through to 8 June 2011.
