Star mare Arabian Gold, a daughter of champion international sire Dubawi, is the latest pin-up lot to join the catalogue for the Southern Hemisphere’s number one breeding stock sale.
A four-year-old, Arabian Gold has proven herself one of the country’s best and most consistent mares over the past three seasons.
A winner at two, three and four, Arabian Gold boasts a record of nine wins and three runner-up placings from 24 starts with earnings of $985,230.
Arabian Gold won four races at two and then at three trained on to win stakes races in three states – a Group Two in Brisbane, Group Three in Sydney and listed in Melbourne. She was also second in the Queensland Oaks. At four she beat star Catkins in the Group Three Golden Pendant at Rosehill.
Arabian Gold joins a supplementary catalogue which will include at least seven group winners including star Australian galloper Sweet Idea and champion kiwis Ruud Awakening and Fix.
Further details and a preview of the supplementary catalogue will be released by Magic Millions on Tuesday.
