SHOW A HEART CONTINUES QTIS HAUL
Glenlogan Park Stud stallion Show A Heart continued to plunder the rich QTIS offerings at Doomben today with the win of his high quality two year-old son Show A Prince.
The Liam Birchley prepared gelding netted another $53,000 for connections at Doomben, with his earnings now standing at $128,000 from just three starts.
Show A Prince (pictured near the rails) was a $110,000 yearling purchase at the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale from the Glenlogan Park Stud draft.
Show A Heart has already supplied the $250,000 QTIS 600 Gold Coast winner Black Cash this season.
Queensland’s reigning champion stallion; Show A Heart has 28 yearlings catalogued for sale at the 2011 QTIS 600 yearling sale which commences at the Gold Coast tomorrow.
Show A Prince is the first foal of former brilliant racemare Princess Margaret.
A daughter of Spectrum, Princess Margaret won 9 races including a keynote career win at Listed level in the Silk Stocking at the Gold Coast.
This is also the family of high class Queensland juveniles Dynamic Love and Key Bar Nights.
Runner up to Show A Prince at Doomben today was the Bryan Guy prepared Florida Fellow, who failed by just a half neck at his second start.
A son of Anabaa, Florida Fellow was an $80,000 purchase by his trainer at last years QTIS 600 yearling sale.
Kiernan Pastoral will offer a half brother to Florida Fellow during tomorrows opening session of the QTIS 600 Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
Lot 195 is a son of Jet Spur from Hialeah Star (by Luskin Star).
