From the 2024/25 racing season, the Magic Millions races conducted in Victoria move to a new home – Caulfield.  Magic Millions is proud to partner with the Melbourne Racing Club to bring the two Magic Millions features to a highlight meeting in December.

The Magic Millions VIC 2YO Classic is an ideal lead up race to earn valuable prizemoney for those targeting the $3 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic.   Please note: this race is run in the standard Victorian left-handed direction with a field capacity of 16 runners.

The 2023 edition of the race (when held at Ballarat) was won by Arabian Summer, trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy.  The filly went on to run a creditable 5th in the 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast, before triumphing in the inaugural $1m Magic Millions National 2YO Classic in May 2024.

The second Magic Millions race on the Caulfield program is for both 3YO & 4YOs – meaning you have another opportunity to participate in the Magic Million Race Series. The Magic Millions VIC 3YO & 4YO Classic is of $175,000 in prizemoney.

Please note: the Magic Millions VIC 3YO & 4YO Classic will be run under the following set weight conditions:

4YO Entire or Gelding: 59kg
4YO Mare: 57kg
3YO Colt or Gelding: 56kg
3YO Filly: 54kg

As the race is a lead in for the $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas, in the event of a ballot, 3YO horses will be given preference.

Both Magic Millions races at Caulfield include VOBIS Bonuses meaning additional Bonuses per race is available to eligible horses on top of race prizemoney.
