A half sister to Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso highlights a quality unreserved dispersal sale in Perth this weekend.
The Unreserved Dispersal Sale of Breeding Stock from Korilya Stud will be one of the features of a two day auction to be conducted by Magic Millions at Belmont.
Selling gets underway on Friday at 4pm (WA time) with a session of yearlings, before other bloodstock including a great selection of racehorses, broodmares and weanlings go under the hammer on Sunday from 11am (WA time).
Among the 24 lot unreserved draft from Korilya is Lot 139, the unraced Dubai Destination mare Fiorentina.
Being a daughter of the Group One winner Porto Roca, Fiorentina is a half sister to six winners. Another of them is the Sydney performer Seven Stars – the dam of G2 winner Happy Galaxy.
Fiorentina heads to the sale after an early spring cover last year from Dick Turpin – the multiple Group One winning son of Arakan (Nureyev).
Other features of the draft includes Mentality’s half sister Miss Sultry Song (served by in form sire Vital Equine), stakes performers Brocky’s Ace, Crimson Pak and Masai Lady as well as the dams of stakes horses Xaaravid, Our Ol’ Fella and Rusty Peaches.
Among the draft of mares are lots by sires including Canny Lad, Jeune, Fastnet Rock, Bletchley Park, Old Spice and Encosta de Lago.
