The attention will then turn to the famous Ascot Racecourse where the $250,000 Magic Millions Perth 2YO Classic (1100m) and $125,000 R.M.Williams Magic Millions Perth 3YO Trophy (1400m) will be run on Saturday, January 30.
The fourth and final session of the sale – comprising 195 lots will be held from 12 noon on Sunday (January 31).
Set to go under the hammer at this year’s sale are (at least half) relations to the likes of Scenic Shot, Graceful Anna, Cheyenne Dancer, No Wine No Song, Clueless Angel, Marasco, Black Bean, Old Comrade, Covertly, Coniston Bluebird, Natural Blitz, Kusi, Able Prince, Gold Rocks, No Questions, Roman Time, Moon Dragon, Enzedex Eagle, Ma Ma Machine and Espurante.
“The catalogue in 2010 is clearly the best ever for a Perth Sale,” Magic Millions Managing Director David Chester said.
“And as well as proven local favourites like Bletchley Park, Key Business, Hurricane Sky and Blackfriars there are progeny of red hot sires Oratorio and Bearcat.”
“Also catalogued this year are youngsters by exciting first season sires including Flying Pegasus, Due Sasso, Natural Blitz and Saxon.”
“And throw in a number of Australia’s leading interstate sires – the catalogue for next week’s sale is first class.”
Graduates of this sale over recent years have won Group One races including the VRC Derby, Lightning Stakes, Newmarket Handicap, Railway Stakes, New Zealand Derby, Hong Kong International Sprint and Royal Ascot King’s Stand Stakes.
