As the 2010 Magic Millions National Horses in Training Sale approaches, past sale graduates continue their winning run around the globe.
At the Busan race meeting in Korea yesterday both international events were won by Australian bred gallopers who were purchased from the popular breeze up style auction at the Gold Coast.
Magic Millions International Bloodstock Director David Chester was at the meeting and was delighted to see the clean sweep of the international races by graduates of the popular auction.
“Both horses were purchased from the sale by well respected KRA buyer Lee Myung Gul,” Chester reported.
“He has been a regular visitor to the Gold Coast for many years and is very much looking forward to this year’s sale at the end of this month.”
The pair of winners at the meeting were Viva Storm (Stromberg Carlson) and Kok Bo Gu (Viscount).
Viva Storm, who is from the Knowledge mare Lauren’s Charm, made it three wins from seven starts when he won his 1300 metre Class Three event in impressive fashion.
Later in the day it was Kok Bo Gu (ex Quadrophonic Sound by Ideal Planet) who was winning for his connections in an 1800 metre event.
A Korean party of 30, led by Magic Millions Korean agent Yoo Jae-Hyung, will attend this year’s National Horses in Training Sale – which will be held at the Gold Coast on October 27 and 28.
Chester has been busy promoting the sale over the past two weeks in Macau, Hong Kong, Korea and the Philippines.
The sale is renowned around the world as one of the best of its kind with a number of star graduates having been sourced in recent times.
And in Australia the sale is now gaining the reputation it rightly deserves through the exploits of stars including recent stakes winners Shocking, Masquerader, Graceful Anna, Fifteen Carat and Whipsaw.
