Buyers at next month’s Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale are in for a treat with Tasracing announcing they will once again match rich Victorian VOBIS payments for Tasmanian sired yearlings.
All Tasmanian sired yearlings in the sale will be eligible for the bonuses on races up to $100,000 run in Victoria with the payouts matching those paid out by SuperVOBIS.
The bonus pay out structure is as follows and will be split 70% to the owner and 30% to the nominator. VOBIS Gold payments are excluded from the TasVOBIS scheme:

To be eligible for the rich bonuses, the owner of the Tasmanian sired lot from the sale must pay a once off nomination fee of just $660. In past years some vendors have paid the fee and this could be arranged with the respective vendors.
Eligible sires from the 2014 Tasmanian Yearling Sale catalogue are: Brilliant Leader, Estmabul, Helike, Incumbent, Jayemzed, Ladoni, Mr Innocent, Savoire Vivre, Sedaka, Tough Speed and West Quest.
As well as these enhanced bonus payouts, all yearlings offered at the sale are eligible for two $50,000 feature races for sale graduates run on the eve of the sales – one for two-year-olds in 2015 and another for three-year-olds in 2016.
