Exciting Oaklands Stud based freshman sire All Bar One has made an immediate impact with his youngsters at the official trials.

In two days he’s been represented by metropolitan trial winners in Sydney and Brisbane.

On Monday in Sydney the Clarry Conners trained Bench Star impressed with a strong heat win at Warwick Farm.

Bench Star (ex Precious Lass) got home in the fourth 813 metre heat to beat Milazzo (Snippetson) and Moment to Remember (Valixir).

Yesterday at Doomben the promising colt All the Torque (ex Majestic Slipper) cruised home to win a 900 metre heat by three and a half lengths.

Prepared by Nathan Schofield, All the Torque was purchased by his trainer from the draft of Darlington Stud at March’s QTIS 600 Yearling Sale for just $7,000.

Buyers at the upcoming Magic Millions National Horses in Training Sale get the chance to buy a youngster with five two-year-olds by the sire catalogued.

And the Gold Coast sale ring during the first half of next year will offer an outstanding selection of yearlings from his second crop.

A former outstanding sprinting son of Hennessy trained by Gillian Heinrich, All Bar One won nine races during his career, earning over $548,000.

A Magic Millions graduate, All Bar One won races in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney during his outstanding career which peaked with victory in a Group Two Sir Byrne Hart Stakes at Eagle Farm.

Meanwhile, Red Dazzler was another first season sire with a trial winner yesterday.

His daughter Scarlet Witch (ex Big Pretzel) was successful in a 650 metre heat at Toowoomba.

A Group One winning son of Red Ransom, Red Dazzler stands at Queensland’s famous Eureka Stud.

Red Dazzler has three youngsters set to go under the hammer at the National Horses in Training Sale – two colts and a filly.
