Two of New Zealand’s best modern day racemares have joined the supplementary catalogue for this month’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

Following on from last week’s announcement of brilliant mare Sweet Idea’s inclusion, the star trans-Tasman performers Ruud Awakening and Fix have joined what is already an outstanding catalogue.

Group One winner and New Zealand’s champion juvenile Ruud Awakening will make the trip from New Zealand to go under the hammer at National Broodmare Sale on May 27. She will be joined by triple Group Two winner and New Zealand Filly of the Year, Fix.

“We are honoured to present what will be the finest supplementary catalogue ever for an Australian thoroughbred auction with a sensational selection of quality lots,” Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox said.

“As well as Sweet Idea, Fix and Ruud Awakening we are also set to catalogue a number of other outstanding black type winning mares.”

“Our catalogue has buyers from all budgets covered with top breeding prospects. We have our largest catalogue of race fillies and maiden mares and many of these young prospects will develop into the country’s next star producers.”

The National Broodmare Sale will be conducted from May 27-31. The complete supplementary catalogue will be revealed soon.
