Late first acceptances for the $100,000 Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic to be run at Morphettville on March 14 close on Monday.
The race, to be run over 1200 metres, has a proud history for producing high class winners and the 2011 edition looks set to be one of the most interesting races on Adelaide Cup Day.
The $100,000 event is restricted to Magic Millions Yearling Sale graduates who’ve been the subject of the once off race series nomination.
Horses not originally accepted for the race on February 22 can now enter the race with a $275 late acceptance by 10am (SA time) on Monday.
Last year the race was won by the Rick Hore-Lacy trained star Toorak Toff – a subsequent Group One winner in Sydney and one of the country’s top sire prospects.
