Trainers and owners looking to quality their yearlings for the rich Magic Millions Race Series from last month’s Tasmanian Yearling Sale are reminded nominations must be lodged by tomorrow.
Any yearling that was sold or passed in at the Launceston sale is eligible for rich race series’ – whether in Tasmania only – or around Australia in Magic Millions races.
The 2011/12 Magic Millions race series will take in at least 14 races around the country and prizemoney of at least $5 million MUST be won.
A special nomination is available for graduates from the Tasmanian Yearling Sale to make them eligible for the exclusive Tasmanian Race Series ($550 inc GST).
All Tasmanian Yearling Sale graduates are eligible to be paid up for the full Magic Millions Race Series ($3,245 inc GST) and run in Magic Millions races Australia wide for life.
“The beauty of our race series – the first of its type in the world – is that you can win a $2 million race as a two-year-old and then come back each year after and keep winning closed graduate events,” Magic Millions Acting Managing Director David Chester said.

“Local buyers and owners in Tasmania can also qualify their youngster for the Tasmanian Race Series including the 2012 $50,000 Shaw Magic Millions Tasmanian 2YO Classic and the 2013 $50,000 TasBreeders 3YO Yearling Sale Classic and a number of $5,000 sale credits in other selected events.”
